our lady of the river shoot is by far one of my most favorite recent projects. it was SUCH a hectic day, but it was all so worth it in the end once we got in that mucky water, and in seeing the photos//video that were produced as a result of everyone's hard work. this was a conceptual//styling collab between the WITTY girls and i, similar to our ZORRO shoot, and we are so happy to finally be able to share it! make sure to check out the feature today on 100LAYER CAKE and scroll to the bottom//take the time to watch the whole video, it's unreal.
i am continually blown away by the talent and creativity of the people i call get to call my "work friends." this shoot was no exception to that, we got to work with a rad team:
-photography>> STEVE COWELL photo who captured the witchy and ethereal vibe we were going for so well
-videography master>> MAX CUTRONE who just constantly churns out bananas videos
-killer glassware//tabletop wares>> farra of HOSTESS HAVEN, hostess with the mostest and the most magical collection of goods
-insane acrylic "invite suite"// tarot escort cards>> amber from PITBULLS AND POSIES, let this girl run with it and she nails it every time
-rentals//babe modeling//styling/concept collaborators>> the super models tiff//chels of WITTY
-insanely beautiful candles in vintage glassware>> sarah larson of OFTEN WANDER who scoured high and low to find vintage vessels to fill just for this shoot
-makeup guru extraordinaire >> erica of 1011 MAKEUP who babed us up with her natural makeup expertise
-hairdo babe>> kate doyle of BOBBY PIN KATE who teased our hairs real good and stuck twigs and feathers and copper bits throughout
-and last but not least>> gabi of PICK TULIP who let us raid her closet for all the flowy things to wear
this was a TEAM EFFORT if there ever was one. a huge thank you to everyone who participated AND stayed to help us pack everything up at the end of the day! collaborating with fellow creatives is made even better when they're all also really great human beings.
